Larry James Norenberg, 69, of Marion, died Nov. 6, 2015. There will be a celebration of the life of Larry Norenberg from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at the Main Lodge at Lake Macbride in Solon. Attire is very informal as there will be many activities that Dad loved, canoeing, hiking and general frolicking. Hot and cold drinks will be provided and please bring your favorite Czech or German dishes. Memories will be shared.
Survivors include his Children, Ellen (Wayne) Carver and Kari (Curt) Rozeboom; Brother-in-law, Jim Schafer; Sisters, Merry Jo (Wayne) Collop and Barbara Conner; seven Grandchildren; and eight Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Rose Dvorak Conner; Stepfather, Marion Conner; Father, Lester Norenberg; Stepmother, Mary Dosset Norenberg; Sister, Cheryl Schafer; and Brother-in-law, John Helm.
Larry was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Son, Cousin and a Friend to all he met. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964 and completed a four-year electrical apprenticeship in 1969. He worked very hard all of his life. Most of his employment was as an electrician for Justice Electric, Bechtel and Munson Electric. Larry was a proud member of Local Union 405 IBEW.
