Linn County highway ramp closed after truck rolls
The ramp from southbound Highway 13 to eastbound Highway 30 was closed about three and a half hours Sunday night as crews mopped up after a dump truck overturned.
Sheriff's deputies, state troopers, and firefighters responded to the scene southeast of Cedar Rapids. The dump truck carrying corn overturned on the sharp curve about 5:15 p.m., spilling at least part of its load and blocking the ramp. A sheriff's dispatcher said the ramp was being reopened about 8:45 p.m.
The truck's driver, Donald Martin, 44, of Norway, was not hurt.
