USA wrestling tops Cuba in Times Square
NEW YORK - The United States won 9 of 13 matches against Cuba as part of the 'Salsa in the Square” wrestling event in Times Square in New York City.
Former Hawkeye Brent Metcalf beat Franklin Maren Castillo, 8-5, at 65 kilograms, but Yowlys Bonne Rodriguez of Cuba beat former Hawkeye Tony Ramos, 14-1.
Other USA winners included Randi Miller, Clarissa Chun, Helen Maroulis, Andy Bisek, Tervel Dlagnev, Kyle Snyder, David Taylor, and Jordan Burroughs.
