Letter: Cedar Lake can offer many benefits

Developing Cedar Lake into a recreational area would be more than an environmental asset for Cedar Rapids. Kudos to those people who have persevered to make a vision a reality.
As for funding, wouldn't it be great if the vast sums of money for political ads etc. was spent on projects that benefit everyone regardless of political affiliation?
