Letter: Give your pets unconditional love

Please take my family into your prayers and thoughts as we lost a beloved member of our family. Please think especially of my brother, Shane, as he is going through the heartbreak of losing someone that meant the world him.
Our dog, Moose, was hit by a vehicle going too fast on our highway that didn't even stop to see what they hit or consider what they have taken from us. I realize that the accident was not entirely their fault, but I cannot forgive the fact that they didn't even have the courtesy to stop.
If you know my brother you know he has one of the kindest, softest hearts, with a special soft spot for animals. Seeing this happen to him is one of the worst things I have ever experienced and he needs all the love he can possibly receive.
Thank you everyone for your unending support. Much love from me and my family and especially our loving pets. Moose, you will be missed. Thanks for filling my brother's heart and our home with the unending love only a dog could give. Hug your family and pets and give them the unconditional love that they deserve and need.
