Eldora man will serve 14 years in federal prison for enticement of minor, child porn

A Eldora man who attempted to entice a minor to engage in sexual acts and distributed child pornography was sentenced Thursday to 14 years in federal prison.

Kevin Trittien, 35, pleaded guilty last October to one count of attempted enticement of a minor and one count of distribution of child pornography. During the plea hearing, Trittien admitted he attempted in 2012 to entice an undercover officer who was posing as a minor to meet for the purpose of unlawful sex. He also admitted he distributed child pornography.

Trittien also was fined $8,000, along with the prison time, and will be required to serve an eight-year term of supervised release. He must comply with all sex offender registration and public notification requirements.
