Vance, Jody Lynn
Jody Lynn Vance, 26, died peacefully Monday, April 25, 2011, at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday April 28, at New Horizons Church, Coralville, with Pastor Alecia Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Jody was born on Feb. 2, 1985, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Sue Paulsen and Lonnie Vance, both of North Liberty. She graduated from West High School. Jody was loved by her family and friends. She was well known by people all over the world. She was a cheerful person who enjoyed music, animals and spending time with her friends. She also attended Employment Systems.
Survivors include her parents; her brothers, Joseph and Samuel Vance; grandmothers, Winifred Cope and Martha Vance; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, John Paulsen and Dr. William Vance.
