Midlands brackets and team scores through Day 1

The first day of the 48th Midlands Championships is complete. Lehigh is your team leader with 65 points. The three-time defending Midlands team champion Iowa Hawkeyes are third with 52.5. Wisconsin is in secxond with 58.5.
The Hawkeyes have three semifinalists (Matt McDonough at 125, Tony Ramos at 133 and Grant Gambrall at 184) and four alive in the consolation bracket. Iowa State, who is in fifth place, has three in the semifinals (Chris Drouin at 141, Chris Spangler at 165 and Jon Reader at 174) but only two wrestlers in the wrestleback. here are the completed brackets through Day 1.
