Letter: Turn Jones into a 9-hole course

I would like to share thoughts I have regarding shutting Jones Golf Course.

I do not think it is a good plan. The course always has been a challenge and fun to play with a nice clubhouse for food and drinks.

The problem is the floodwater that shuts it down at times so I feel it should be reduced to 9 holes, which should keep it open at all times.

I hope those who have the decision to make will keep it open as a 9-hole course.

Keep Cedar Rapids as a great golfing community for all.
