Letter: Our flag deserves the utmost respect

I am a Korean War veteran. I am proud of my service.
I am proud to be an American, the greatest country in the world. I am proud of the stars and stripes (our flag). I am proud of our national anthem.
To burn our flag is a sign of disrespect. To fail to stand during the playing of the national anthem is a sign of disrespect.
If you wish to show your protest, there are many other ways for you to use as a protest. But, please do not show disrespect for my flag, for my national anthem, for my country!
