Larry Rocarek, 74, of Glen Flora, Wis., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died April 1, 2017, at his home. A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 7, at the Moose Lodge, 1820 West Post Rd. SW, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; his ex-wife, Joan Hartson; children, Brad (Debbie) Rocarek, Laura Robison, Mark Rocarek, James (Marna) Rocarek, Kristan Bevins, Larry Rocarek Jr., Scott (Candys) Rocarek and Steven Rocarek; stepdaughter, Wendy Campbell; brother, Gary (Judy) Rocarek; and several grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry was born June 20, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Martha and Frank Rocarek Jr. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1960. He enjoyed the outdoors, bowling, softball and the Cardinals.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family, c/o James Rocarek or Kristan Bevins.
