Kathy Marie Woodman, 71, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, passed away April 22, 2021, at her home, surrounded by family.
Kathy was born June 17, 1949, to Pat Henle and Mabel Coleman in Marshalltown, Iowa. She grew up in Chelsea, Iowa, attending St. Joseph's Catholic School. Kathy worked as a seamstress, secretary and office manager. Kathy loved socializing, cherishing her time with people through waitressing.
Kathy enjoyed crafts, gardening, sewing, quilting and fishing. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Belle Plaine.
She is survived by her children, Melissa (Russ) Spading of Belle Plaine, Karla Dixon of Belle Plaine, Clayton (Janise) Daylin of Fort Collins, Colo., and Trish Reed of Marion; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; seven siblings; and many more loving family and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons a sister and brother.
Memorial service is 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at Grace Community Church, Belle Plaine with Russ Spading officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Service will also be livestreamed through the funeral home Facebook page.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 26, at Hrabak-Neuhaus Funeral Service, Belle Plaine. Memorials may be directed to the family. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.neuhausfuneralservice.com
