Elizabeth A. Brincks, 91, of New Hampton, passed away Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Linn Haven Rehabilitation and Healthcare in New Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph's Center in New Hampton with Father Mark Osterhaus celebrating. Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in New Hampton
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton with a 3:30 p.m. rosary and a 5:30 p.m. Scriptural wake service. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph's Gathering Space one hour before funeral mass Wednesday.

Elizabeth Ann Brincks was born on March 6, 1922, to Peter and Suzanna (Weber) Gilbert in New Hampton. She attended St. Mary's School in New Hampton. After her education, she helped her parents on the family farm. Elizabeth was united in marriage to Edwin Brincks on Nov. 10, 1947, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Hampton. The couple farmed and raised their seven children on a farm northeast of New Hampton where she continued to live to the present time.
Elizabeth enjoyed flowers and gardening, sewing, crocheting and quilting. She worked beside Edwin on the farm caring for their dairy cattle. Elizabeth especially enjoyed her family and grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, St. Mary's Center and the Red Hat Society at Linn Haven.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Linda (Tom) Sauer of Troy Mills, Robert (Betty) Brincks, Ron Brincks, both of New Hampton, Karen (Tom) Oberg of Moline, Ill., Dewey (Mary) Brincks of Lawler, Jerry (Julie) Brincks of Melcher and Donna (Richard) Houser of New Hampton; 19 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sister, Leona Murphy of Waterloo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edwin; her brother, LeRoy Gilbert; her half brother, Henry; her half sister, Catherine; her granddaughter, Kelli Sauer; and brother-in-law, Ed Murphy.
