Letter: Peter Johnson best choice for Marion Ward 2

Many Marion residents are tired of being stuck in an endless roundabout of rising taxes and municipal spending with no voice.

If you are one of those residents and live in Ward 2, I urge you to vote for Peter Johnson.

Who is Peter Johnson? He is a small-business owner who volunteers at his grandchildren's schools and with the Boy Scouts.

He is running a self-funded campaign so he will have no conflicts of interest. He is honest and logical.

He pledges to listen to the residents of Ward 2, to bring a common-sense approach to identifying and solving problems, to return integrity to the city and restore transparency to city government.

What he will not do is maintain the status quo.

If you want more roundabouts, no say in the future of the city library and even higher taxes, vote for his opponent. If not, vote for Johnson for Ward 2.
