MARY ANN BRITT
Manchester
Mary Ann Britt, 85, of Manchester, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque.
She was born on a farm north of Worthington on Dec. 29, 1928, the daughter of Ed and Dora (Stoll) Schemmel.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Bill, of Manchester; her children, Tim Britt of Harrisonville, Mo., Connie (Jerry) Meisgeier of Traer, Jeff (Patti) Britt of Riverside, Jill (Tom) Hentges of Streamwood, Ill., and Dan (Jean) Britt of Waverly; 10 grandchildren, Tyler and Krista Britt, Ben and Ryan Meisgeier, Kelly, T.J. and Nicole Hentges, Isaac, Joseph and Andrew Britt; and four great-grand-children, Zachary and Samuel Meisgeier and Birk and Emma Meisgeier.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Dora Schemmel; and all of her siblings, Vic Schemmel, Wanda Kehoe and Linus Schemmel.

Mass of Resurrection: 6 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at St. John's Catholic Church in Delhi, where visitation will be from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. The Rev. John Kremer will officiate. Interment: 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, at St. John's Cemetery, Delhi.
