Letter: Thankful for this year’s Thanksgiving meal

Thank you to the volunteers at AbbeHealth Aging Services and Transamerica.
I have been stuck in my home, recuperating from a recent diabetic complication, and was afraid that I would miss out on a true Thanksgiving meal this year.
Lo and behold, there came a knock on my door. A very nice lady and her two children - representing AbbeHealth and Transamerica - brought me a complete Thanksgiving meal, including pumpkin pie!
My thanks and joy go to to these folks for remembering us elderly folks during the holiday. You made my old heart smile!
