Mull Sr., Joseph 'Butch' A.
Joseph “Butch” A. Mull Sr., 70, of Anamosa, passed away at his home earlier this week. A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, March 22, at the Morley Community Center from 11:30 a.m. to 3 pm. Cremation Society of Eastern Central Western Iowa is assisting the family.
Joseph Anthony Mull Sr. was born Jan. 8, 1940, to Homer and Lucille Axline Mull, in Anamosa. He was united in marriage to Wanda Capron on March 27, 1965, in Caledonia, Minn. Butch enjoyed the great outdoors and worked as an excavator.
He is survived by his children, Donnie (Kelly) Mull of Onslow, Angela (Kenneth) Wenger and Doug (Becky) Mull, both of Anamosa, Joseph Mull Jr. of Mechanicsville, Kathleen Navarro of Lone Tree and Karla Moravek of Mechanicsville; brother, Donnie Mull of Forest Hill, La., Jerry Mull of Olin and Larry Mull of Hopkinton; a sister, Karen Moore of Anamosa; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Joseph was preceded in death his wife, Wanda; a sister, and his parents.
