ANGELA POUNDSTONE
Riverside, Mo.
Angela "Angie" Maria (Rialti) Poundstone, 38, of Riverside, Mo., passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital, with her family by her side.
She was born to Robert T. and Ruth E. (Long) Rialti on June 25, 1975. In October 2007, she was united in marriage with her husband, Nathan L. Poundstone.
Angie graduated from Smith-Cotton High School in 1993. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor's degree in Human Environmental Sciences and Nutrition in 1999 and later received her master's degree from the University of Kansas in Dietetics and Nutrition. She worked as a clinical dietician for Bioscrip.
Angie was a member of the family at Overland Park Church of the Nazarene and was an avid Mizzou fan.
She is survived by her mother and husband; her four brothers, Rob Rialti Jr. and his wife, Lori, of Sedalia, Gary Rialti and his wife, Delora, of Olathe, Kan., Terry Rialti and his wife, Debbie, of Olathe, Kan., and Brian Rialti and his wife, Crystal, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; her sister, Ginger Furnell and her husband, Mark, of Nashville, Tenn.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her father in-law, Bob Poundstone of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her sister-in-law, Jodi Dufoe and her husband, Mike, of Cedar Rapids; her brother-in-law, Seth and his wife, Meghan, of Minneapolis; and her stepdaughter, Alexis Poundstone of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her father; her brother, Kevin O'Bannon; and her sister, Paula Spry.
A funeral service to honor Angie will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Broadway Presbyterian Church in Sedalia, with Pastor Phil Hamner offic-iating. Her family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.
Spending time with fam-ily and friends was Angie's passion and delight, and she will be dearly missed the same.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, where Angie received wonderful and compassionate care, as she battled her illness.
