Burchett, Donald G. 'Pud'
Donald G. “Pud” Burchett, 79, of Dubuque, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at home. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at St. Luke United Methodist Church, 1199 Main St., Dubuque. Friends may greet the family from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hoffmann-Schneider & Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Rd., Dubuque. Committal services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Illyria Community Church, Elgin, located on Highway 56 south of town.
Donald was born June 5, 1932, in Seymour, Iowa, the son of Florian and Viola (Truesdell) Burchett. He married Clara Bane on June 12, 1955, at Illyria Community Church, Elgin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Donald G. Burchett Memorial Fund.
