Viall, Harvey Raymond
Harvey Raymond Viall, 84, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. A private family inurnment will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Harvey was born Sept. 3, 1926, in Miles City, Mont. He married Nadine McQueen on Dec. 11, 1948, in Iowa City. Harvey was a local truck driver for over 43 years for Denver Chicago, Takin Brothers and H & W Trucking until retirement.
He enjoyed playing cards, visiting the casino, watching Bears football and spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Nadine; a son, Robert “Mike” Viall of Norway; a daughter-in-law, Bernita Viall Rozinek of Ely; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Mae Graff of Sun City, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jack Viall; and a sister, Jean Nolan.
