JACELYN "JACKIE" ANN SWINTON
Coralville
Jacelyn "Jackie" Ann Swinton, 64, of Coralville, passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at The Bird House, Hospice Home of Johnson County, with family and friends at her bedside. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lensing's Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Rd., Coralville. A rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
A memorial Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Coralville. Burial will be private in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to the JS Ovarian Cancer Research Fund at UIHC, which was established by Jackie in 2017.
Jackie is survived by her mother, Bernice Swinton of Waterloo; two brothers, Dean Swinton (Juliet) of Waterloo and Duane Swinton (Jan) of Spokane, Wash.; four nieces and nephews, Jennifer Williams (Greg) of Ridgewood, N.J., Nathan Swinton of Washington, D.C., Brandon Swinton (Teresa) of Chicago and Nisha Swinton of New York, N.Y.
