Sauers, George W.
George W. Sauers, 57, of North Liberty ended his life on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010. Memorial mass will celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas More Church, Coralville. Graveside services, with military honors, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lensing's Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Rd., Coralville, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Thomas More Church, the Alzheimer's Association or the Johnson County Crisis Center Suicide Prevention Program.
