Drain, Mary Ann
Mary Ann Drain, 62, of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at her residence following a short illness. Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. Saturday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present from 2 to 5 p.m. A time of sharing and celebrating Mary Ann's life will begin at 2 p.m. Private family interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
She is survived by her husband, Ted Drain of Washington, Iowa; son, Ted Drain and wife Tracy of Santa Clarita, Calif.; daughter, Katie Greving and husband Brian of Urbandale, Iowa; two grandchildren, Alex and Natalie of Urbandale, Iowa; two sisters, Karen Kuehl of Plover, Wis., and Nancy Beck and husband Leon of St. Paul, Minn.; mother-in-law, Athena Drain of Washington; as well as a sister-in-law, Connie Boege of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or the Washington Rotary Club.
