Best Bets: Jazz Under the Stars

KCCK-FM is adding student combos to Jazz Under the Stars. Three groups, composed of students and recent graduates from Cedar Rapids, Marion, Iowa City and Cedar Falls, will perform at 6:30 p.m. today (8/1), Aug. 8 and 15. The 7 p.m. headliners are some of Iowa's top jazz and funk bands. Free concerts are at Noelridge Park except Aug. 22, at McGrath Amphitheatre, Cedar Rapids. Bring seating, picnics or buy food on-site.
