Bertha E. VeDepo, 86, formerly of Iowa City, West Branch, and West Liberty, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at the Simpson Memorial Home in West Liberty. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, West Liberty. Burial will be at the North Prairie Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service, Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her memory.
