Grich to speak at Hot Stove Banquet

Former major league second baseman
Bobby Grich will be the featured speaker at the 14th
Cedar Rapids Kernels Hot Stove Banquet, Thursday, Jan. 29, the club has announced. The Banquet, which includes live and silent auction on baseball memorabilia, will be at the
Crowne Plaza Five Seasons Hotel.
Grich played for the
Los Angeles Angels for 15 seasons and was a six-time all-star. He played in 2,008
MLB games with a career batting average of .266. He had 1,833 career hits, 224 home runs and 864 RBIs.
