Reid, Leslie D.
Leslie D. Reid, 76, of Willow Gardens, died there Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, after a short illness. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, at Willow Gardens. Inurnment will be in Chariton. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters, June Carlson of Baxter, Minn., and Janice (Ted) Shrader of Springfield, Mo.; and nieces and nephews, including Deb (Matt) Hoy of Marion.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Leslie was born May 18, 1935, in Chariton, the son of George and Lavone (Grogan) Reid. He worked in the warehouse at Beldon Hill for more than 20 years.
Leslie was a member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed watching the Cubs as well as being an avid hunter and fisherman.
