Thomsen, Mathias William 'Martin'
Mathias William "Martin" Thomsen, 54, of Oxford Junction, died Monday, July 27, 2009, following a long battle with cancer. Visitation: Thursday at 5 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oxford Junction, with the Rev. Gregory A. Steckel officiating.
He is survived by his siblings, Arnella (Jerry) Comstock, Alesea (Dale) Smith, Arnold Leon Thomsen, Maggie (Don) Schepers, Lloyd (Ernestine) Thomsen, Jon Thomsen, and Monica Thomsen (Todd Metsker). He is also survived by his two nieces, nine nephews, one great-niece and eight great-nephews.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Leon (1962) and Wilma Marjorie Stowers Thomsen (2007); and his brother, Walter Hans Thomsen (1979).
