Kids of all ages arrive ready to battle at Thomas Park in Marion on August 3, 2012. One of the leaders of N.A.L.O., or the NERF Army Leaders Organization, is hard to miss. His name is Christian Draper, and has put on Nerf wars for a number of years - and it shows. He has a vest with extra orange pellets, or ammo, as well as a handful of modified Nerf guns. The advantage of a modified gun is hard to see by the naked eye, but when a shot is fired, not only is it faster --- but it packs a punch.
After around 30 people were split into two teams, they went their separate ways and met on the other side.
