McGonigle, Donald Arthur
Donald Arthur McGonigle, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Willow Gardens Care Center, Marion. Memorial Service to be held at the Fellowship Club, 3224 First Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, on Sunday, August 14, at 1 p.m. Private burial services at a later date in Bradford, Ill.
Survivors include his sisters, Norma J. Dilts, Genesco, Ill., and Mary M. Cresto, Las Vegas, Nev.; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his AA family
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Margaret McGonigle.
Donald was born in Princeton, Ill., and raised by his Grandmother Hickey in the Buda, Ill., area. Donald was a veteran of the U S Air Force. Special thank you from his family to Colette Vincent and Maynard Holub for their consistent care and many visits.
