Ruby Irene Blankenship, 76, of Brooklyn, Iowa, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Brooklyn Community Estate, Brooklyn. Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Burial will be in the Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
