Albert Griffin, 85, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 2, at the Noelridge Baptist Church. Friends may call on the family beginning at 10 a.m.
Survivors include his wife, Vonna (Tebussek) Griffin; daughters, Sharon McVey of Baton Rouge, La., and Lisa (John) Seidel of Wheatridge, Colo.; stepdaughters, Linda Tebussek and Jane (Garth) West; stepson, David (Robin) Tebussek; six grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mari; brother, Bill; and stepson, Michael.
He worked for Rockwell Collins as an electrical engineer for many years before retiring. Al was also a longtime member of the Noelridge Baptist Church.
Al was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed by all who loved him.
