Right cheers any news that’s bad for Obama

It's likely that Chicago was not chosen as host of the Summer Olympics because our country has been host to plenty of Olympics, while Brazil never has. President Barack Obama gave it his best shot. He knew the risks, but went anyway to put in a good word for America and his hometown. I thought it was wonderful that he went to try and help. If he had not gone, the result would have been the same and he would have been blamed.
What has been shocking is to see the right cheering that America lost. These right-wingers hate Obama so much - Rush Limbaugh was positively giddy about it on his radio show - they're now cheering against America itself. They don't care if the country is circling the toilet, as long as something contains even a shred of bad news for Obama. To them, it is more important to politically destroy our president.
This utter lack of patriotism is stunningly hypocritical given their rhetoric for the past eight years about how un-American anyone was who did not support every thing done and said by President George W. Bush.
I am having a hard time thinking of such people as Americans.
