Unattended candle sparks Marion house fire
Fire damaged a Marion home Tuesday after a candle was accidentally left unattended.
Firefighters responded around 1 p.m. to 1590 Brockman Ave. when a resident came home to find smoke in the house. A man who lives there said a candle was left burning and caused the fire. He declined to be identified.
The fire caused some damage to the interior, but no damage was visible from the outside. No one was hurt.
