Kinney, Richard L.
Richard L. Kinney, 83, of rural Winthrop, died from a courageous battle with cancer Friday, Feb. 17, 2012, at his home. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Winthrop. Burial: St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop, where there will be a rosary at 2 p.m. and Scripture service at 6 p.m.
Surviving family includes his wife, Donna of Winthrop; one daughter, Carolyn Kinney of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Rick (Coralie) Kinney of Statesville, N.C., Jeff (Tammi) Kinney of Winthrop and David (Shelly) Kinney of Hiawatha; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandson.
