Cedar Rapids firefighters have been performing interior fire attack skills at a house that was donated to the City of Cedar Rapids for a practice burn.
Firefighters worked at the home at 2653 Fruitland Blvd. SW on Wednesday and Thursday, making several fire attack entries, practicing interior fire extinguishment, and overhaul exercises.
The home was completely burned down Friday as part of a controlled burn.
The owners are clearing the property for new construction.
