After trouble call, airplane lands safely in Cedar Rapids
An airplane landed safely Monday afternoon at The Eastern Iowa Airport after a report of trouble in the air.
Airport spokeswoman Pam Hinman confirmed that the Cessna airplane landed without incident around 1 p.m.
Hinman was still gathering details on what happened aboard the private flight. She said a few people were on board the small plane but did not know an exact number.
Cedar Rapids firefighters and police who responded quickly left the scene when they learned their assistance wasn't needed.
