UI ‘Girls’ decision exposes hypocrisy

Censorship and repression of creative expression has come to the University of Iowa. Here, in the falsely labeled “Creative Corridor,”
efforts are being made to suppress the creative product of screenwriters. HBO won't get to tell stories without the university's blessing. Prior restraint of artistic expression because someone wants to preview the content is censorship.
Does the UI object to story lines in books produced by the Writers' Workshop? If that creative writing is encouraged and they are permitted to tell stories without interference, why are writers for a project at HBO having their ideas suppressed?
It is blatant hypocrisy for the university to encourage creative expression in its own programs and then suppress expression by other writers.
