CEDAR RAPIDS - Coe College will host Ohio Gov. John Kasich on Nov. 30 as part of a series of Presidential Candidate Forums sponsored by the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
IAICU President Gary Steinke said the forums will offer them 'an opportunity to share their positions on education and workforce policy” in front of an audience that will be affected by their decisions: students. Offers have been extended to all presidential candidates, he said.
Ben Carson will kick off the series Sunday at St. Ambrose University in Davenport.
Kasich will speak at 10:30 a.m. in the Dows Fine Arts Center. Each forum will be hosted by Iowa Public Radio's Dean Borg.
