Letter: Kindness restored faith in humanity

I live in a wonderful city!
I went to the Hy-Vee store on Oakland Road for a quick trip to get groceries. As I approached the cashier, I reached in my pocket for a wallet. Surprise, surprise. Not there. I asked the cashier to hold my purchase while I contacted a neighbor who I just saw to borrow some cash. I rushed up and down the aisles, found her, grabbed some cash and returned to the cashier.
She said it's all paid for by a lady who had been just back of me. Whoever that lady was restored by faith in humanity. How Christian and kind. She didn't even leave her name. Bless her for her kindness.
