Klein, Francis J.
Francis J. Klein, 79, of Manchester, died Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, following a lengthy illness. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. John Flaherty officiating. Interment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Manchester, with military rites. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Manchester, with a 2 p.m. Scripture service and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Survivors include his children, Dave (Tracy) Klein of Manchester, Tom (Barb) Klein of Cedar Rapids, Greg (Carolyn) Klein of Manchester, Deb Klein (Brent Waltz) of Cedar Rapids, Kenneth (Diane) Klein of Manchester, and Karen (Pat) Phillips of Manchester; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph (Viola) Klein of Manchester; two sisters, Hilda Koch of Richland Center, Wis., and Helen Kuncl of Prague, Neb.; and two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Klein of Manchester and Leone Anderson of Carrollton, Texas.
Francis was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen in 1993; an infant son, Richard Allen; two brothers, Richard and Cletus; and two sisters, Mildred Larson and Vera Cole.
