Letter: Proposed health care plan is promising

I was delighted to read about President Donald Trump's promise that Congress will be making major changes to our national health care system that will cover more people at lower rates.

As a supporter of the Affordable Care Act, I think it's fantastic that our major health coverage problems will be solved and everyone will be insured. I am especially pleased to see that under Trump's plan, the government will finally be able to negotiate lower prices with pharmaceutical firms.

Congress will have my full support if they repeal Obamacare and replace it with the system Trump described. I know members of Congress have focused on the repeal part. Many Americans, like me, are interested in the replace part. I'm excited to watch this great plan being implemented very soon.
