U.S. government needs more women
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Jan. 25, 2013 8:06 am
The Iowa Supreme Court has ruled in the case of the dentist and his employee of many years that men are incapable of self control. Since so many, if not most, men agree, I will not debate their wisdom.
This explains the impasse in Congress. If men are so debased, how can they be expected to govern the country? Their hormonal imbalances render them unfit for any responsibility unless their efforts are balanced by mature women who can think beyond themselves to consider the good of the nation. Mature women are capable of giving a man what he deserves so his basic inability to govern himself is likewise balanced.
The solution is to elect a simple majority of sensible women to both houses of Congress. Government would be run smoothly, efficiently and in a timely manner without the drama of perpetual crises. It is high time to elect a woman as president of the United States.
