Thompson, Elaine
Elaine Thompson, 85, of West Union, died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Home. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, West Union. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church. Burial: West Union Cemetery.
She is survived by her two daughters, Karol (Alan) Kleppe of Hawkeye and Janice (Ken) Senner of West Union; brother, Lloyd (Rita Mae) Lewis of Forest City; sister, Cleone Reisetter of Forest City; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1987; parents; and one brother.
