Iowa moved up four spots to No. 19 in this week's USA TODAY coaches poll following its 77-66 win over Nebraska to move to 3-0 in the Big Ten.
The Hawkeyes (12-3) are one spot behind Iowa State, which fell four notches after a 94-89 loss to Baylor on Saturday.
Michigan State (16-1), Iowa's opponent Thursday, is fourth, one behind Maryland (15-1). Purdue (14-3) and Indiana (14-3) are Nos. 24 and 25.
Kansas (14-1) and Oklahoma (13-1) hold the top two rankings after the Jayhawks' triple-overtime victory over the Sooners a week ago.
