Loebsack needs to 'prove it'
N/A
Oct. 17, 2010 3:03 pm
The latest Loebsack television ad states flatly that Mariannette Miller-Meeks has a “secret plan” to increase the sales tax to 23 percent and eliminate home mortgage interest as a tax deduction.
Wow! A “secret plan,” how mysterious and ominous.
This calls for a resounding “prove it, Dave.”
No candidate with an ounce of sanity, Republican or Democrat, would dream of pushing such a course of action.
On the other hand, Loebsack's boss (Nancy Pelosi) made the following remark in front of a fair number of people, “We need to hurry up and pass this health care bill so we can find out what's in it.”
Do we really want people like this in positions of responsibility at any level of government?
The answer is obvious and needs no belaboring.
