JAMES BURKLE Earlville James Rapheel Burkle, 90, of Earlville, died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2014, surrounded by his loving family, of a sudden illness at Mercy Hospital, Dubuque. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Earlville, with the Rev. Dennis Quint officiating. The family will greet friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Clifton Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Earlville, with an 8 p.m. Scripture service. Additional visitation at 9 a.m. Thursday, also at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Earlville. Clifton Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Earlville, is in charge of arrangements.
