Wolfe, Charles
Charles Wolfe, 85, of Marion, passed away on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy; sons, Clint and Eric (Donna); a brother Nick (Donna); along with nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Louis; and a sister, Dolores.
Charles Wolfe was born July 24, 1928, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Ernest and Anna (Vig) Wolfe. Charles proudly served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Dorothy Booze on March 17, 1951, in Cedar Rapids. Charles enjoyed computer solitaire, working crossword puzzles and watching sports. He will be missed by family and friends.
