Moes, Maxine B.
Maxine B. Moes, 91, of Lowden, died Dec. 8, 2011, at the Clarence Nursing Home from an extended illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden, with Pastor Steve Stepp officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice (Kent) Strackbein of Lowden and Deborah (Clint) Harm of Aurora, Colo.; two stepsons, Michael Jr. (Elaine) Moes of Tipton and Loren (Rose) Moes of Anamosa; three stepdaughters, Marcia (Don) Hover of Prescott, Wis., Michelle Askren of Heartland, Wis., and Cynthia (Owen) Lavin of Denver, Colo.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen (Bill) Mueller of Pasadena, Calif.
Maxine was born July 1, 1920, in Tipton, the daughter of Walter J. and Erma M. (Clendenin) Conway.
