Library’s fall book sale was a success

To the editor:
On Nov. 6-8, the Friends of the Cedar Rapids Public Library held their annual fall book sale.
This event is their primary fundraiser. The money raised is used to support library projects, such as the summer reading program.
This event could never happen without an army of volunteers who unpack books, organize materials and assist customers in purchasing books.
The final element for success is for those who love to read and love books come to sale. Cedar Rapids did not disappoint.
I am very proud and happy that this community gave such positive support to the Friends of Cedar Rapids Public Library. We couldn't do it without you.
